Marking its fifth anniversary in 2006, Business of Design Week (BODW) aims to be bigger and better than ever. Already a highlight of the global design calendar, BODW 2006 will host over 10,000 participants and more than 70 international speakers.

The Business of Design (BOD) Asia international conference held from Wednesday 29th November to Friday 1st December is the cornerstone of BODW 2006 and will feature high calibre speakers, guiding six specialist tracks:

• Luxury Goods
• Museum & Entertainment Arenas Design
• Brand, Product & Technology (I)
• Retail & Restaurant Design
• Communication Design & Branding
• Brand, Product & Technology (II)

Another highlight of the BODW 2006 programme is the Design for Asia (DFA) Award, presented at a HKDC Annual Award Gala Dinner on 30th November to selected winners who have demonstrated outstanding commitment to promoting design excellence. The Award recognises individuals and companies from around the world that have generated business success through good design that either reflects, or has an impact on, the Asian lifestyle.
